Submit I-Day celebration proof: Varanasi madrassas told

All the 123 madrassas in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency Varanasi have been asked to submit video CDs or photographs of Independence Day celebrations at the district minority welfare office within a week.
On the basis of these pictures, the office will prepare a report mentioning the number of madrassas that followed the government order (GO) on Independence Day celebrations. This report will be sent to the state government.

“Two days after I-Day celebrations, no madrassa has submitted CD or photograph of the functions held. They have been given five more days to complete this formality ,“ district minority welfare officer Vijay Pratap Yadav said. The government will decide on action to be taken in case of noncompliance of the GO by any madrassa.

The registrar of UP Board for Madrassa Education had sent a GO to all DMWOs in the state on August 2, making it mandatory to hoist the national flag and sing national anthem at all the madrassas.
