COURSTEY MIRRIOR MAY 19

ASK THE SEXPERT
DR MAHINDER WATSA

1 I am a 33-year-old woman. My husband and I were in a relationship for years before we got married, and we have been married for the last 7 years. Earlier, we used to have sex every alternate day, but now, we’ve started doing it almost every day. We both enjoy it a lot. Is having sex daily normal?

As long as you both agree on it, and enjoy the act, it is normal. The body will send you signals to decrease or increase, if it comes to that.

2 I am 26, and have been in a relationship from the last eight years with a 25-year-old man. For the last four years, I have been masturbating by fantasising I’m having sex with him. We are now engaged and we’ve had penetrative sex. While I was aroused by foreplay, I didn’t get any pleasure when he penetrated me. Why is this?

Your married life will not be affected as long as he is careful to make sure that you are sexually satisfied, whether it is by using the fingers or otherwise. Discuss with him different positions, as there may be some positions that are not stimulating the clitoris enough to allow completion of the act.
