1 I have been having sex for over ten years now, but, for some reason, I am not able to sustain the act for longer durations. Typically, I experience orgasms within 20 to 30 seconds of starting intercourse and this is becoming a problem now. I wanted to know whether this problem could be related to the fact that my penis is very sensitive. If this is the case, what can be done about it? And, are there any techniques I can use to prolong lovemaking?

Much can be improved. Consult a sexpert. With the expert’s guidance, you can try to improve your sexual performance. Besides, the expert may also be able to help you overcome the premature ejaculation you are experiencing. Please start practising Kegel exercises daily. Details on how this should be done can found on the internet.

2 My 15 year old daughter recently got an abortion done after an accidental pregnancy. Since the abortion she has put on about 10 or 12 kilos. That is over the last six months. The weight gain is quite alarming and my daughter is very upset about it. Could this be due to the abortion itself, or is it a side-effect of any of the medications that she was given during the procedure?

Most likely, a simple correction of the diet will help her to return to her normal weight — the weight she was at before the abortion procedure. More importantly, you should advise her to take the necessary precautions that would ensure that she does not get pregnant again. She should also know how to be safe should she have multiples partners. Hopefully you and your partner, as responsible parents, will ensure that, in future, she is properly educated, so that this incident is not repeated.
