Sub:         Harrassment and threats to a widow by Mother –in-Law Smt. Veena Goswami and Sister-in-Law Anu Joshi, who returns from Canada.

Worthy Sir,

Most humbly and respectfully, it is submitted that I have lost my husband at the age of 28 years. After the death of my husband (Late) Sh. Amit Goswami, on 30 March, 2013, whom I got married at Chandigarh on 29 June. 2012. My life have been spoiled. Even no body is here to look after me. My mother-in-law Smt. Veena Goswami, left me alone and flew to Canada to live with her daughter Mrs. Anu Joshi, who is a permanent resident in Canada. I pray as under:-

1               That  both abovesaid mother in law Smt. Veena Goswami and her daughter Anu Joshi (My sister in law) came back to India some days back. Smt. Anu Joshi, called me from No. 0179-2235206 on 29 May, 2014, saying that come to me at Parwanoo and meet me and mother Mrs. Veena Goswami, but I refused to do so. After that she wrang me up from Phone No. 8295607606 saying that you come alone and no body allowed to acoompany you. When I told that you can visit at home at H.No. 3109, Ground Floor, Sector 44D, Chandigarh, where I am residing at my late husband’s  house. After hearing such words from me, she was anguished and threatened, saying that vacate my house and live as Paying Guest and challenged to vacate the house from her.

2.              That  ultimately, I filed a complaint against Smt. Veena Goswami and sister in Law Anu joshi in Sector 34 Police Station, Chandigarh on 2 June, 2014. for taking action against both the accused for threatening for throwing me out from the house, where I am residing.

3               That Sector 34 Police Station authority, called both the parteis where Mrs. Veena Goswami, take the opportunity to settle the matter and got time from police station. Acting upon the assurance, Mrs. Veena Goswami and their some relatives gathered at Sector 33 Park Terrace Garden, where she again shouted me and threatened me to vacate the house, but I refused to do so. Ultimately I again filed  a complaint against above said Mrs. Veena Goswami and others in Sector 34 Police Station on 16.6.14 and got signature of the concerned person.

                 In view of the above, I request your honour to kindly take serious action againt the mother in law Mrs. Veena Goswami and Sister in law Anu Joshi and others for willful threatening to thrown out from the house in Sector 44D, Chandigarh.
