JJP leader quits party posts, says upset over ‘politics of revenge’
TIMES NEWS NETWORK

Jind:

In a setback to the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in Jind, its state president of panchayat raj wing, Pradeep Gill resigned from all the party posts on Thursday.

Gill, who belongs to Jind assembly segment, which is part of Sonipat Lok Sabha seat, is yet to decide his next course of action.

Addressing a press conference at his office on Gohana road here, Gill said he was leaving the party as he was upset with its “politics of radak (revenge)”.

He said he would decide his future course of action after consulting his supporters over the next couple of days. However, he added that he would go with a party which has a developmental approach.

Gill was a prominent face of the INLD and was even president of its youth wing from 2011 to 2018.

But he parted ways with INLD and joined the JJP last year, after the split in the Chautala family.
