Vij says Kejriwal has no right to inspect state’s dispensaries
CHANDIGARH: Haryana health minister Anil Vij on Monday questioned the authority with which Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had sought and announced that he would inspect five dispensaries in the state. Highlighting the improvement in the functioning of schools and hospitals in Delhi, Kejriwal, also convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), had recently announced that he would inspect five dispensaries of Haryana on any date given to him.

Vij asked how could Kejriwal disrupt the doctors and other dispensaries employees by such inspections in Haryana.

“He may flay our functioning or point out irregularities but a chief minister of a state cannot go to other states and hold inspections of government institutions,” Vij added.

He also referred to a recent national survey in which the civil hospital of Rohtak was ranked the best in the country while a public health centre (PHC) of Kurukshetra was ranked best last year, and said that it showed constant improvement in health institutions of Haryana
